Ms. Nancy Beaucaire
Hello! My name is Nancy Beaucaire. I am the preschool teacher in the oral/aural deaf and hard of hearing program. I have taught for over twenty-five years in the Chicago Public Schools, including the past four years at Chase Elementary School. I earned two bachelor’s degrees from Northern Illinois University (B.S. communicative disorders - speech-language pathology, B.S. special education - deaf and hard of hearing), a letter of approval from the Illinois State Board of Education in early childhood special education, as well as a master’s degree in early childhood education from Governors State University (M.A. early childhood). I also recently received an ESL special education endorsement.
As a preschool educator, I hope to foster a love of learning in my students and an eagerness to come to school everyday. I want my students’ first experience in the school setting to be full of wonder and excitement!
In my free time, I like to read and practice yoga. I love teaching at Chase and am proud to be a part of this school community. It is truly my happy place! :)
